It all started when Eng Yasser El Azzawy (the founder), an Engineer by education, Marketer by profession, started his DIY home workshop to satisfy his passion for vintage furniture pieces. He always saw vintage furniture as unique and full of character and rare to find, so he started teaching hismself how to make vintage pieces out of new furniture making them look aged and detailed. while working as a full time Marketing and Advertising expert. Friends and family were impressed with the artisitic small pieces he created in his small home worshop during his spare time, and many started to encourage him to start producing commercially. Driven by the fact that Vintage and Rustic furniture is rare to find and make in the region, he started eDokana as an online shop with a small workshop to answer small orders received and soon the workshop turned into a manufacturing facility producing all kinds of Vintage and Rustic home furniture starting from small consoles up to kitchens, bedrooms and dinning rooms. Now Edokana furnishes full houses and villas and we export our unique pieces to many countries all over the world.
